We are an all-remote company, but prefer that you have availability during EU work hours to facilitate better collaboration with your core team.
For the role of community manager, Kollect is looking for a self-starter with a passion for evangelism. Ideally, this person will be a self-starter with prior experience using decentralized technologies, along with a working knowledge of customer success and marketing in a startup software company setting.
Responsibilities
- Enroll new users and make sure they're successful as NFT traders going forward.
- Use Discord, Twitter, and Telegram to provide customer support.
- Keep the community's spirit alive and well by promoting it.
- Gather and synthesize community insights and bring them to the attention of the engineering team.
- Examine any new collections or projects that want more exposure on Kollect by conducting an audit.
- Prevent buyers from being duped and respond to complaints.
- In a fast-changing environment, keep internal and external information resources up to date.
- Contribute to our brand, content, and community strategies with ideas and efforts.
Ideally, You Would Have...
- Ability to provide support for questions received outside of U.S. (Europe, Africa, and Asia).
- Knowledge of and interest in decentralized technologies.
- A strong work ethic and hustle are all important, as are communication skills, writing ability, and a business development mindset.
- Curiosity, resourcefulness, and open-mindedness to learning are all important traits to possess.
- The ability to prioritize effectively in a rapidly changing environment.
- Patience in helping those who are new or unfamiliar!
- Experience leading a community.
- (Nice to have) Previous marketing experience is a plus.
- (Nice to have) Previous experience in HTML coding.
- (Nice to have) Familiarity with WordPress is an asset.
- (Nice to have) Extensive experience with distributed computing systems.
